The Needs Of Working Families
Working families are under
attack. Real wages are falling.
Good jobs are vanishing, shipped overseas. Hospital doors are closed to
more people every year. Retirement plans and safety nets are coming
apart.
This is a direct result of the two major parties being funded by the same economic interests -- the large corporations and related individuals.
Our campaign is grounded in a shared commitment to social justice -- restoring the American dream -- for all Americans, not just the few.
As your Congressman, I will stand against this control of our government by big business. I will work to restore our vision of a government of the people, by the people, and for the people.
My loyalties and concerns are with people who make their living from wages, salaries, and small business income. And, so are my policies.
I will work to require fair trade deals, that put a priority on working families. I will work to restore tax equity, so corporations and wealthy individuals start paying their fair share. And I will work to refocus our spending priorities on real human needs.
